Welcome to "Let's Get Real", a personal blog that I use to journal my experiences and as personal therapy.  I was born in Park City, Utah and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 15.  I have been married to my husband for 24 years and we have 6 beautiful children ranging in ages from 21 to 13! I stayed home for 10 years to raise my kids and now work as an Executive Assistant.

My husband and I struggled with infertility; we did years of foster care and have adopted 4 of our 6 children.  I started this blog as I realized there are not a lot of resources out there for parents dealing with a multitude of challenges and diagnosis.

Here on my blog my goal is to get down and dirty and get real about all the things that we have experienced raising 6 children for the last 21 years.  I hope Let's Get Real can help inspire parents to believe that we are all doing our best!
